About Me

Hi, and thank you so much for checking out my blog! My name is Sarah Elaine and I am an aspiring portrait photographer living in the heart of North Carolina. I graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2006 and after graduate school (him), a dose of the working world (me) and three wonderful years of marriage, my husband and I were blessed by the birth of our sweet little girl, Delainey.  We have since been blessed with another sweet (and spunky) daughter, Sallie.  There is never a dull moment with them around…and I love it that way!

While I absolutely love getting out and meeting new families, and of course– catching up with the same families every 6 months or so for sessions–Sarah Elaine Photography is my part-time job.  Therefore, I take a limited number of sessions each month. This allows me to dedicate more thought and time to each session, enjoy time with my family, occasionally cook them dinner, and still have a some-what clean house : )

There is one thing you should know that I am passionate about, pertaining to my business:  I feel strongly about providing the images from your session on CD. As a mother myself, I am constantly changing out framed photos in my house, updating our family blog, or making photo books for family and friends. I don’t expect you to choose a few images from our session to print, and then that’s it.  I want you to be able to share your images on facebook, your blog, and print as many out as you want! So that’s why I always have and always will provide the CD as part of the session fee.
